Teaching and learning and scientific issues, in general, have been regarded as a light descended from God unto his trainees’ hearts and the utmost criterion of valuation in Quran and Hadith. Considering the high importance given to teaching and learning in Quranic and Hadith teachings, it seems essential to pay attention to this issue. This text is intra-disciplinary and we have used library research method and data analysis with reference to holy Quran and its interpretations, narrative and lexical books and Islamic texts. Based on this, since God is the first human’s trainer and one of the tasks of prophets as God’s surrogate is to teach human for his guidance and eternal happiness, in this research, we have focused on the verses and narratives about traits of the prophets and the distinguished as the best models of teaching and learning so that we can obtain proper teaching and learning principles based on educational contemporary books with a religious perspective. Principles emphasized in religious verses and narratives about training should be taken more seriously by teachers; principles like prioritizing self-discipline overtraining the discipline of individuality, the discipline of a community, the discipline of facilitation and simplification, and the trainee’s need for gentleness and moderation.
