Assistant Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences at Farhangian University, Karaj, Iran
Abstract
This article deals with the lived experiences of the religious life of Farhangian University students. Students' experiences of religious life provide valuable information to cultural and educational administrators of the university. This information can help cultural and educational administrators in designing university cultural programs. The research method in this article is qualitative methods. The statistical population is all students of Farhangian University of Alborz. The statistical sample was determined based on a purposive sampling of 29 social science students. In data collection, the method of narrative interview was used and the method of analysis is phenomenological analysis. After collecting students' experiences of religious life, the important statements of students about religious life were identified. 5 main themes were extracted from the important statements made by students about religious life. At the end of the students' narratives were analyzed based on 5 main themes, the feeling of God's presence in life, peace and security, the way of life, following the rules and regulations of religion, and observing ethics.
