Abstract

The aim was to reflect on the qualitative research method by emphasizing the validity and reliability of this research method. It has been descriptive-analytical. Qualitative research method is specifically related to the collection and interpretation of non-digit data in order to understand the world around the human and social. Qualitative research methods can be linked to anthropology, philosophy, psychology, history, and sociology. Qualitative methods emphasize research on independent social individuals who have the ability to perceive, feel, idea, and mentally understand phenomena. The important point is to achieve validity and reliability in qualitative research, which should be as sensitive as a minefield in collecting data from the beginning to the end of the research. In the qualitative research method, the sampling method, entering the field, the question method are somewhat different from the quantitative research method, and at some times in the combined research, as a complement to the quantitative method, qualitative methods are used in the research. Quality is more important than validity, and the tool for achieving the validity of a research is the role that the researcher plays in the field under study.
