The main purpose of this research is to explain women's financial independence in relation to citizenship rights as one of their fundamental rights and citizenship rights are the inherent and natural rights of humans, the value of these rights is rooted in religious training, constitutional law, and culture, and since women play a key role in the family and any changes in their situation will affect their family and society and on the other hand, sustainable development in the country is not possible without considering the activities of women. The question is, how will their financial independence be realized according to women's activities in different fields of society? How are their financial independence and their citizenship rights related to each other? Despite the sensitivity towards women's activities and their income in the country and the world community, they have not been specifically addressed yet. It should be cited that women's financial independence is not only important for development and wealth creation but also gives women self-confidence and intellectual independence and they can be good mothers and wives in the family and capable managers. The research method is text-based and descriptive, with analytical and by using library resources, codes from laws and scientific texts have been derived and explained. The present research has made suggestions in the direction of women's financial independence and reforming cultural and social behaviors as well as reforming laws and executive measures; assuming that applying these suggestions can lead to the realization of citizenship rights.
