Abstract

This study aimed to synthesize the effect of sleep quality on students' learning. The present research method is in the category of qualitative research and research synthesis type, for the writing of which six stages of synthesis research have been used. Domestic and foreign databases were used to collect information, and scientific documents were written in 2003 and later used to examine the theoretical and practical bases. Therefore, the studies carried out regarding the subject of the research during the years 2003-2021 inside the country and 2004-2020 abroad as a statistical population were searched through domestic and foreign databases and were carried out with investigations and also the criteria The determined input of 46 articles was extracted, after performing the first level screening, 19 articles were selected and considered as a statistical sample. In this regard, the findings obtained were put together in 5 categories of definitions of variables, sleep variable, types of learning, effective factor on learning, and the effect of 2 variables, and each of these topics was investigated from different aspects. The results obtained from this research indicated that not having enough information about sleep has disrupted students' learning, so considering that sleep and learning are very vital and better learning depends on proper sleep quality, it is necessary for this direction, necessary measures should be taken to increase awareness in the field of sleep and learning.
