With the expansion and application new technologies and changing lifestyles, the phenomenon of social isolation has been noticed more than before and has had implications at the individual and social levels. The main purpose of this research theoretical and empirical study of social isolation and its relation with socialization factors among citizens of Kashan city. In this research, has been used a survey method the statistical population includes all women and men aged 18 to 45 years old in Kashan, whose number is 164124 and the sample has been achieved 400 according to the Cochran formula and the questionnaires were distributed by stratified sampling method at different geographical locations of the city. For the social isolation variable, 12 questions have been raised and the impact of variables has been investigated such as sex, age, marital status, socio-economic status, religiosity, mass media, family education, social communication. The results of the study show that except of variables such as age, sex, marital status, socioeconomic status other variables have a significant relationship at 95% confidence level with social isolation , the results of regression analysis show that the variables in this study can predict %75/8 of variance of dependent variable.
