Effect of Poetry Therapy on Performance of Working Memory of Girl High School Students in Sarabeleh

Abstract
the purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of poetry therapy on working memory performance of secondary school girl students . the research method was experimental . the statistical population of the second grade female high school girl 's junior high school students in 2009 - 2015 academic year , were randomly assigned to two experimental and control groups . for the experimental group , group counseling program was designed and performed for three sessions a week for one week . the control group attended daily group sessions without any special intervention . the main tool for data collection was memory capacity test . multivariate analysis of covariance was used to analyze the data . the results showed that the poetry therapy could increase the comprehension ability of students ( p < 0.001 ) . this means that the technique of poetry therapy is effective on working memory . according to this study , it can be said that reinforcement is effective in reinforcing active memory . therefore , it is suggested to use this simple skill to improve and improve working memory .
