Abstract

Objectives: The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between religious orientation and psychological well-functioning family was among the students. materials and methods: The research method was correlation. The population of this research martyr Beheshti University, 320 students (175 males and 145 females) who were randomly selected form. Alport religious orientation questionnaire for the evaluation questionnaire, Psychological well-being and family functioning scale was used. Findings: Multivariate regression analysis showed that the problem significantly predict psychological well-being and added solve the problem, the family, communication, roles, behavior management, emotional involvement and emotional support to the equation able to predict increases significantly. The correlation between the components of religious orientation (extrinsic religious orientation, internal religious orientation) on the one hand and students on the other side of psychological variables 388 / 0R = calculated and shown that 15% of the variance, or differences psychological well-being of individual variances or individual differences in the characteristics of religious orientation. Conclusion: So we can say that all family members, especially parents with their performance in the context of their important effect on the mental health of their children and Higher mental health, religious orientation, would be better.
